Memory In The Bali
I think this is a Hindu funeral ceremony, but I’m not sure. You’ll see things like this all the time. The Balinese Hindus maintain their culture despite all the other influences invading their island.
I took this photo near ‘Lake Batur’. The locals try to sell fruits, woodcraft and all kinds of other things for a little bit of money. Don’t forget to bargain, it’s normal!
Near Lovina in the mountains you can find small villages. The people mainly live from growing coffee and kretek (clove) production. Most of the people live in poverty, but still smiling faces and the changes are that they’ll invite you for a cup of coffee!
